In the absence of new callers into the show, I’ve been trying to come up with ways to spark interesting interactions with people not initiated into our social circles.

I tried this first with game streaming, with very limited success. Most people in the games I am competent at, do not have chat enabled. In games with more lively interactions, notably Counter Strike, I have no expectation that I would ever achieve meaningful competence, and this is not conducive to talking smack.

On a couple of recent episodes I’ve either played recorded segments where I chatted with people on OmeTV, or aired live sessions of those interactions. These have been hit or miss, but if I stay at it for a few hours, I usually get some content out of it that is not worthless.

On a recent SurrealPolitiks member show, I tried something new and very unexpected. I set up an account on Grindr, a GPS based all male dating app. I spoofed my GPS to appear in a far away area, and identified myself as a radio host looking to speak to people on a recorded phone call. I have so far aired one recording of my interactions from this method, and more are soon to come.

In the lead up to today’s show I am doing both the OmeTV and Grindr trolling. I will try to have some pre-recorded material ready by showtime, and will fill in the rest with live interactions, your calls, and news of the day.

I’ll have much more to say about this, and much else, when The Radical Agenda airs live every Friday at 9:30pm US Eastern on Odysee, and on the GetMeRadio app for smartphone, Roku, and FireTV. Give us a call at 217-688-1433.
